A schoolboy, aged 15, and a 42-year-old man were stabbed at the Wigan Interchange bus station around 5:20 PM on 10 September 2025. A 15-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in police custody for further questioning.
Police Investigation Underway
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have cordoned off the area as investigations continue. Superintendent Danny O’Neil stated, “There is a scene in place while our officers investigate the incident and the events that led up to it. We will also have officers in the area throughout the evening and are currently reviewing CCTV and obtaining witness statements.”
Appeal for Information
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
