Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell, who leads local policing for the Met’s East Area Command, issued an update following the tragic incident in Hainault earlier today.

Bell began by expressing profound sadness over the death of a 14-year-old boy who was fatally stabbed during the incident. He confirmed that the child’s family is receiving support from specially trained officers, and emphasized that the entire Metropolitan Police force stands in solidarity with them during this incredibly difficult time.
