Police were called to Wandsworth Road, SW8, on Sunday morning following reports of a fight. Officers arrived at the scene around 10pm and promptly arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
During their initial investigation, officers discovered a suspicious item, prompting the evacuation of local residents as a precaution. Road closures were implemented around the area to ensure public safety, although these have now been lifted. A crime scene remains in place as detectives continue their investigation.
