Teenage armed Robber arrested by Armed Police in Dalston after Mobile Phone Theft

A teenager has been arrested following an armed street Robbery on Sunday in Dalston. Police were called at 11:34am on Sunday, 19 November to a report of a mobile phone theft in Kingsland High Street, Dalston E8. The victim confronted the suspect shortly after the incident, and the suspect produced a firearm. Officers attended, including firearms officers. After an area search, officers located a suspect and pursued him on foot. A 16-year-old male was arrested in Pellerin Road N16 on suspicion of robbery and possession of a firearm. He was taken to an east London police station. A firearm and the stolen phone were recovered.
