Police are requesting the public’s assistance for any information regarding an accident that occurred involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in Saltdean.
The collision took place around 7:20 AM on Wednesday, April 24, at the intersection of A259 and Saltdean Park Road. A white BMW collided with a 15-year-old boy from Peacehaven.
The teenager sustained serious, though non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly taken to the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
The BMW’s driver, a 49-year-old man also from Peacehaven, did not suffer any injuries.
Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant information, including CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident, to come forward.
