In the early hours of Sunday, Sussex Police were alerted to a stolen vehicle heading northbound along the A29 in Fontwell. The incident unfolded shortly after midnight, prompting a rapid response from local officers.

The pursuit continued briefly as the stolen car veered eastbound onto the A27. The chase came to an abrupt halt when the vehicle collided with a parked car near the Ford Road roundabout. Inside the stolen vehicle, officers discovered six boys, aged between 13 and 15, all of whom were promptly taken to the hospital for assessment and treatment.
