This afternoon, six fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters responded to a house fire on Guildford Avenue in Feltham – (ID 527403)

The majority of the ground floor of a mid-terraced house was on fire. Crews are expected to stay on the scene until this afternoon.

There were no people inside the house at the time,” said Station Commander Steven Vydelingum, who was on the scene.

Firefighters worked tirelessly in difficult, hot conditions to bring the fire under control.

The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers responded to 17 calls about the fire.

The LFB was called at 2.03pm, and the fire was out by 3.25pm. Firefighters from Feltham, Hayes, Twickenham, and other nearby stations responded.

The fire’s origin is being investigated.
