Tragedy on M5 as Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Fatal Incident

 

Police are seeking information after the body of a man was discovered on the M5 northbound carriageway near junction 9 for Tewkesbury early this morning (Saturday, November 2). Officers received a report shortly after 6:05 a.m. regarding the tragic incident.

Initial investigations suggest that the man, believed to be in his 30s, fell from an overbridge onto the carriageway below. Emergency responders attended the scene, but the man was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities have stated that the death is being treated as non-suspicious.

The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers during this difficult time.
