Officers arrest driver of car found to contain 121 cannabis plants

A devastating single-vehicle collision occurred on the M25 at 8:40 pm on Saturday, December 23rd, resulting in the loss of a young woman’s life. The collision involved a car that had collided with the central reservation of the busy motorway.

Emergency services were swiftly dispatched to the scene, and the clockwise section of the road was temporarily closed between junction 27 and junction 28 as they worked to assess and manage the situation.

Despite the diligent efforts of paramedics on-site, the driver of the vehicle, a young woman hailing from London, tragically lost her life at the scene. Her next of kin have been notified of the heartbreaking incident.

A passenger, a woman in her twenties, was also involved in the collision and sustained minor injuries. She was transported to a hospital for medical attention.

Following the accident, the road remained closed while officers from the Chigwell Roads Policing Department and Forensic Collision Investigators conducted thorough investigative procedures at the site of the collision.

The road closure was eventually lifted at around 4:30 am on Sunday, December 24th, allowing traffic to resume its normal flow.
