In a harrowing early morning incident on the M2 motorway in Kent, two young children were pulled from the wreckage of a collision that left onlookers in shock. The collision occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, and has prompted an investigation by Kent Police.
The incident unfolded when an HGV driver, a Polish national, found himself at the centre of a gripping scene. The driver had been forced to seek refuge at the Medway services after coming under attack from individuals who had broken into the rear of his lorry and damaged the curtain, endangering his load.
Describing the unsettling events that led up to the collision, the driver explained that his cargo had come under attack during the night. Advised by the Police to park up at the Medway services, the driver complied, hoping for a respite from the alarming situation.
