In a harrowing early morning incident on the M2 motorway in Kent, two young children were pulled from the wreckage of a collision that left onlookers in shock. The collision occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, and has prompted an investigation by Kent Police.

Advised by the Police to park up at the Medway services, the driver complied, hoping for a respite from the alarming situation.
However, during his stay at the services, he was jolted awake by a deafening crash. Rushing outside to investigate, he was confronted with a disturbing sight—a red car had veered off the motorway, crashing into a forested area at the bottom of the services.
Amid the wreckage, the HGV driver made a grim discovery. Two young children, who had been travelling in the red car, were trapped beneath the debris. Reacting swiftly, the driver alerted the authorities, and police officers arrived promptly at the scene.
