Warning Issued Over Alleged Incident Involving Delivery Driver in Chadwell Heath

A disturbing incident involving a Domino’s delivery driver has prompted a safety warning for residents in Chadwell Heath.

The alleged incident occurred at approximately 8:54 PM when a delivery driver reportedly attempted to force his way into a customer’s home after delivering an order.

Details of the Incident

According to the customer, the delivery driver initially got on his knees to apologise for forgetting a drink, citing the cold weather as the reason. After the customer reassured him and attempted to close the door, the driver allegedly held it open, restrained her against the door, and tried to force his way inside.

The woman stated she managed to fight him off and close the door before her boyfriend arrived and confronted the driver at the pizza shop. The shop reportedly denied the allegations and claimed the driver had limited English, despite the customer asserting that he spoke fluent English during the delivery and subsequent incident.

Description of the Driver

The driver is described as wearing a chequered shirt and blue jeans and is of a larger build.

Police Involvement

The customer has stated that she will be reporting the incident to the police and has noted the driver’s license plate number.

Community Warning

The incident has sparked alarm, particularly among women in the area. The customer urged others to be vigilant, saying:
“Please ladies, be careful! God forbid this happens to someone younger or an elderly person who couldn’t defend themselves. It’s a disgusting world we live in.

Domino’s Response

As of now, Domino’s has not provided an official statement regarding the incident.

Residents are advised to remain cautious when interacting with delivery personnel and to report any suspicious or concerning behaviour to the police immediately. This story is developing, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
