Woman dies in fatal collision in New Cross collision

Detectives are appealing for information and dash-cam footage after a pedestrian was fatally injured following a collision with a motorcyclist in New Cross. Police and London Ambulance Service were called to Amersham Road, SE14 at 10pm on Tuesday, 6 August following reports of a collision. Officers attended and established a motorcyclist had been involved in a collision with a car before it was involved in a collision with two pedestrians. One of the pedestrians, a woman aged in her late fifties was taken to hospital in a critical condition. She died in hospital a few hours later. Her next of kin have been informed. The other male pedestrian involved was treated for minor injuries. The male motorcyclist and the driver of the car involved in the initial collision were taken to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue Temporary road closures are in place. Anyone with information or dash-cam footage concerning the collisions is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 8263/06Aug or Crimestoppers anonymously via 0800 555 111.
