A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a lorry on the M6 in North Staffordshire.
“On arrival, crews found a pedestrian, a woman, in a critical condition. The team of ambulance staff worked together to administer advanced trauma care at the scene before conveying the woman on blue lights to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further emergency care.”

Staffordshire Police confirmed that the incident involved a pedestrian and an articulated lorry.

A police spokesperson stated:
“We were called at 7:50 PM on 28 February to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry between junctions 15 and 16 northbound. The pedestrian, a woman, was taken to hospital by ambulance. The driver of the lorry was not injured.”

The incident marks the second serious collision on this stretch of the M6 last week.
