Young inexperienced driver rolls car on to its side in Haven Street
A road remains blocked this afternoon after the driver lost control of their vehicle on the Isle of Wight. The young driver lost control of their White Vauxhall Corsa and crashed on the Main Road through Haven Street causing it to roll on to its side as she took the corner at speed near to Haven Street railway station. The woman escaped without injury and self rescued from the vehicle. More than can be said for her car that is likely to be a total write off. Police officers from Hampshire Constabulary have been called to the single-vehicle incident that happened just before 6pm on Wednesday evening. Traffic is under Police direction but one lane remains blocked
