Fatal Crash Rocks Angmering

A 20-year-old man has died following a devastating collision on the A27 in Angmering. Emergency services rushed to the scene on Arundel Road at around 10.40pm on Friday, 3 April, after reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle near Hammerpot.

Road Closure and Investigation Underway

Despite efforts to save him, the young man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. The westbound carriageway was closed for several hours as police carried out a full investigation. The road has since reopened.

Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Sussex Police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision. Officers are appealing to anyone who saw the pedestrian near the area that evening, witnessed the crash, or has dashcam footage to come forward.
