A murder investigation is underway after a young man’s body was discovered in a back garden in Bristol. Police have launched a hunt for the killer following the grim discovery early this morning.
Victim in His 20s Found Near Bristol Homes
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was found near a path behind houses along Cleve Road. Officers believe he died several hours before the body was found, possibly late last night. Formal identification and a post-mortem are still pending.
Police Seal Off Area as Hunt for Killer Intensifies
A cordon has been set up on Cleve Road and the nearby A38 Gloucester Road North. Police, forensic teams, and Avon Fire and Rescue are all at the scene working to piece together what happened.
“We cannot even begin to describe the anguish the family are feeling. We’ll ensure they receive support from our specially trained officers during this incredibly traumatic time,” said Superintendent Karen Corrigan. “This criminal investigation is in its early stages but will continue at pace to establish the facts.”
Police Urge Public to Come Forward
Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, especially those with CCTV footage of the A38 Gloucester Road North, Cleve Road, North Way, and College Way between 3pm Wednesday and 3am today.
