Cyclist left with serious injuries after Fareham collision

Police appealing for witnesses after a cyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision in Fareham. Officers were called to Peak Lane at 8.20am yesterday (25 July) to reports of a collision involving a blue Ford Transit van and a cyclist. The 34-year-old male cyclist, from Fareham, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains. The 39-year-old male driver, who is also from Fareham, was uninjured. PC Sarah McEwen, from Havant Roads Policing Unit, said: “This happened during the morning rush hour so we know that there were a lot of vehicles around. “Did you see either vehicle prior to the collision or did you see the collision?
