Eiffel Tower evacuated after man see climbing up the outside of the Tower
The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, has been evacuated and closed ‘until further notice’ after a man was seen climbing up the outside of the tower. The man began his ascent at the second level at around 2.15pm local time. A number of tourists inside the tower were told to stay in place as police negotiated with the man A spokesman for the Tower has confirmed at present the tower has been closed and we are working to resolve the issue.
