A full emergency response was declared at Heathrow Airport this evening after a United Airlines Boeing 767-300 experienced a hydraulic issue and was forced into an overweight landing and having to return t Heathrow just before 6pm on Saturday 1st March 2025

Nature of the Emergency

The aircraft reported a hydraulic failure  shortly after taking off fromHeathrow, requiring an emergency landing. Additionally, it was carrying dangerous goods in the aft hold, adding complexity to the situation.

Emergency response teams, including fire crews, paramedics, and airport operations staff, were put on high alert as the plane prepared for its landing.
