Five men have been slapped with over 30 charges after a violent fracas rocked Maidstone’s Gabriel’s Hill early on Sunday, 28 September 2025.

The Brawl Breakdown

Kent Police were called at 1:05am following reports of a row outside a nightclub. Trouble kicked off when one man was denied entry and allegedly attacked club staff. Four others from his group soon jumped into the violent melee. Windows were smashed as objects were hurled at the venue, causing serious damage.

Arrests and Charges

  • Three men were nabbed at the scene on suspicion of assault and criminal damage.
  • Two more were arrested later — one on 29 September, the other on 2 January 2026.
  • On 26 March, all five faced a whopping 31 charges, including violent disorder, assault causing actual bodily harm, and criminal damage.

Meet the Charged

  • Ethan Beaney, 20 from Camp Way, Maidstone – charged with six offences.
  • Joshua Fennessey, 21 of Selwyin Place, Orpington – seven charges, including possession of a Class B drug.
  • Arthur Hicks, 19 of Mangravet Avenue, Maidstone – seven offences.
  • Dre Mitchell, 20 of Oaktree Avenue, Maidstone – five offences.
  • Jamie Walker, 21 from Clare Place, Maidstone – six charges, including possession of a Class B drug.

All five are out on bail and due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
