Stephen Webb, 54, has blasted his brief romance with David from Guernsey as a total non-starter. The former Gogglebox star met David on E4’s dating show in 2024 and was quick to label him a “hottie” and “something special”.

But the fizz fizzled fast. On October 1, news broke that Stephen had split from David after discovering the man was juggling other men and swiping on dating apps behind his back.
“The whole David thing was – I was part of a TV show. I wouldn’t say we were together at all. No,” Stephen exclusively told BANG Showbiz.
Single and loving it
Despite travelling from his Brighton home to Guernsey to see David, Stephen is now dipping his toes cautiously back into dating – but isn’t rushing into anything. He admits he’s happy flying solo for now.
“I’m just dipping my toe back into the dating pool. I’m actually not really looking to meet anyone. I’m happy being single for now,” he said.
The 2024 Dancing on Ice contestant, who split from ex-husband Daniel Lustig-Webb earlier this year after six years, loves the freedom of single life.
“I just love that I can do what I want, go where I want, please myself, eat what food I want, watch what TV I want to watch.”
