Chaos on Denmark Road

The Met Police rushed to Denmark Road, Camberwell, after reports of gunshots and a brawl on Wednesday night, 8 April, at around 9.35pm.

Victims Treated, No Life-Threatening Injuries

Officers and paramedics found a 17-year-old boy wounded on nearby Carew Street. He was rushed to the hospital and later confirmed to have non-life-threatening injuries. Two men, aged 25 and 19, also turned up at the hospital with injuries from the incident. Their wounds were not life-altering either.

Investigation in Full Swing

The Met has yet to make any arrests but vowed to work fast to find those responsible.

“We understand the concern caused by incidents of this nature and want to reassure the community that detectives are working at pace to trace those responsible,” a Met Police spokesperson said.
