Emergency services are currently battling a massive fire that erupted at the Osborne View Hotel in Lee-on-the-Solent early this morning.

The blaze broke out around 2:30 am, and approximately 60 firefighters from around 10 crews are on the scene to tackle the inferno. Flames have soared as high as 20 feet into the air, creating a challenging situation for emergency responders.

Several roads in the vicinity, including Old Street, Solent Road, Osborne Road, and Knightsbank Road, have been closed as a precautionary measure. Residents in nearby properties have been advised to keep their doors and windows shut due to the thick smoke billowing from the fire.
