In an emotional update shared with followers, it was confirmed that Jerry was discharged from the hospital on Friday evening after weeks of treatment following complications linked to heart surgery.

Within hours of returning home, Jerry was already showing signs of returning to the passion that made him a household name.
On Saturday, he checked his streaming equipment and even considered going live—before wisely deciding it was too soon. Instead, he took a gentle drive around Heathrow Airport with close supporters and members of the Big Jet TV community.
Those present described the moment as uplifting, with Jerry quickly slipping back into “avgeek mode,” even if only briefly.

Community Support During Critical Weeks
The past few weeks have been described by those close to him as incredibly difficult. Following heart valve surgery, Jerry suffered two strokes, leading to complications that required specialist care and stroke rehabilitation.
His family and team paid tribute to the “incredible support” received from fans around the world, saying the messages of encouragement had been invaluable during the darkest moments of his recovery.

Streaming from a field near the runway, he delivered energetic commentary and deep aviation knowledge, drawing peak audiences of over 200,000 live viewers. His footage has since amassed millions of views worldwide.
The success transformed Big Jet TV into a full-time operation, with Jerry travelling across Europe and the United States, building a loyal global community of aviation enthusiasts.
