A man was arrested after a stolen lorry packed with booze flipped over in Birmingham during a dramatic police pursuit.

Police Chase Ends in Chaos at Duddeston

West Midlands Police confirmed the 51-year-old driver ignored officers’ orders to stop. The lorry was driven dangerously before overturning at the junction of Little Hall Road and Great Francis Street in Duddeston, Birmingham.

Stolen Goods and Arrest

Officers believe both the lorry and its cargo—a large haul of alcohol—were stolen. The driver was rushed to the hospital but has since been discharged.

“He has been arrested on suspicion of theft, vehicle theft, dangerous driving, and failing to stop. He remains in custody for questioning,” confirmed a police spokesman.
