A major fire broke out at a commercial building in Faversham, Kent, prompting a large-scale emergency response that lasted over 14 hours.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called at 5:37pm on Wednesday, 28 May 2025, to reports of a significant blaze at a commercial premises on Ashford Road in Faversham, where the fire drew considerable attention.
At the height of the incident, 10 fire engines, a height vehicle, and specialist support units were deployed to tackle the flames. Kent Police were also in attendance, supporting the fire operation and securing the surrounding area amid the Faversham fire chaos.

Ashford Road was partially closed during the operation, with local businesses and residents urged to avoid the area due to the ongoing Faversham fire efforts. Services have since resumed, though fire investigators are expected to return to the site later today.
