A man has tragically died after collapsing outside Leigh Delamere Services on the M4 near Chippenham.

Emergency Crews Rush to the Scene

Emergency services were called at around 4pm on Sunday, 29 March. Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance scrambled to the scene, landing their yellow and green helicopter in the lorry car park.

Critical care medics from the air ambulance joined local paramedics to deliver urgent treatment. Sadly, despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Confirm No Suspicious Circumstances

Wiltshire Police confirmed the death was a medical emergency with no suspicious circumstances under investigation. A police spokesperson said, “Our thoughts are with his family.”
