The Metropolitan Police have launched a public appeal for information to locate a woman, Marinela Manolesu, after a suitcase containing jewellery worth £350,000 was stolen from a hotel in central London. The theft occurred on Sunday, 8 October, at a hotel in Knightsbridge, where the 28-year-old had been employed as a housekeeper.
