Chaos on Primrose Hill as Easter bank holiday turns deadly on the UK’s hottest day of the year. A 21-year-old man was stabbed to death during a brutal brawl that left another man in hospital. The shocking attack unfolded right in front of hundreds enjoying the sunshine at the iconic London spot.

Violent Stabbing Shocks Parkgoers

The drama erupted at around 6.40pm near Regent’s Park, where crowds had gathered to soak up the warmth. Mobile phone footage shows a fierce fight breaking out among a group of young men. Witnesses say punches flew fast and furious before a knife appeared. One youth lunged with the blade, then retreated as chaos unfolded.

“It was the busiest I’ve ever seen it here because of the weather and Easter holidays,” said one witness. “Suddenly, a big brawl kicked off—people were throwing punches and screaming to stop. Some looked about 18 or 19.”

The witness added how three men fled the scene shouting, “You’ve been sheft, mate,” with one spotted sporting a large bloodstain on his shirt. A huge crowd soon gathered around a victim on the floor, their grim faces revealing the severity of the situation.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Metropolitan Police found the 21-year-old with fatal stab wounds. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, he died shortly after. Another man in his twenties was found nearby on Regent’s Park Road with non-life-threatening injuries and taken to hospital. Video shows paramedics working frantically to save lives before police sealed off the park as a crime scene. Superintendent Matt Cox said:

“This is an utterly tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones. We are investigating quickly, and there will be an increased police presence in the area.”

The London Ambulance Service sent multiple crews, including advanced paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance, responding to the emergency call at 6.41pm.
