Motorcyclist left with Life Changing Injures following Beaper Shute Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the Isle of Wight in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured. Police received a report at 1.27pm yesterday (Saturday 2 June) that a black Land Rover Evoque pulling a metal trailer and an orange and black motorcycle had collided on the A3055 Beaper Shute, at the Harding Shute junction. The motorcyclist, a 41-year-old man from Ryde, was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to life-changing injuries, where he remains at this time in a critical but stable condition. The driver of the Land Rover was uninjured. Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this collision, and the moments leading up to it, in order to establish the exact circumstances.
