Police Constable Tom Skinner, of Bournemouth police, said: “This had a serious impact on the residents affected and we are determined to identify who was responsible.

“We have obtained images of the man who was believed to be shouting and while there is nothing to suggest at this time he started the fires, we would like to speak to him as he may have information about what happened.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
