The Patients Association recently conducted a survey in collaboration with Censuswide to gauge patients’ experiences with healthcare and identify their priorities for the next government. The results are in, and they highlight a strong endorsement for a health-in-all policies approach.

Key Findings:
- Overwhelming Support for Health-in-All Policies: A staggering 71% of patients believe that all government departments should prioritise public health. This consensus underscores the importance of a holistic approach to healthcare.
- Addressing Health Inequalities: Patients who are most unwell, experience health disparities, or face social deprivation are particularly vulnerable to poor health outcomes. A health-in-all policies strategy would involve cross-government coordination to promote patient well-being.
Rachel Power’s Perspective:
Rachel Power, Chief Executive of the Patients Association, emphasised the significance of these findings. She stated, “Our Election Manifesto calls for the government to implement a health-in-all policies approach. This ensures that patients receive care that considers their individuality, beyond the impact of their specific condition.”
