Attempted accosting in Ashford park Detectives investigating a suspicious incident in Ashford have renewed their appeal for information. It was reported that just before 5pm on Thursday 19 April 2018, a girl of primary school age was in a park near Bluebell Road, Kingsnorth, when she was approached by a man on a blue bicycle who held his arm out towards her as he drew nearer. The girl was able to run away and seek help from friends and family before the police were called. She has since helped to compile an e-fit of the man, who is described as being aged about 30 and of medium build, wearing a light blue short-sleeved T-shirt and shorts. Anyone with information is urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/20831/18.
