_psEmbed(“https:///uknip.photoshelter.com”); Officers attended at 3am (Oct 8) shortly after it was reported by a member of the public. Sergeant Eddie Ryan from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We are currently working to establish the exact circumstances of this incident but believe the man has been hit by possibly more than one vehicle. “If you were on this road last night or know someone that was please can you get in touch with us as we need to understand what happened. “We would also been keen to hear from anyone who has a dashcam that drove down this road last night before it was closed as this may have captured valuable information that could be useful for our investigation.” Monument Road is currently closed between the Six Crossroads Roundabout and Albert Drive while officers continue their investigations. We will let you know once the road has re-opened. His next of kin have not yet been identified and therefore not informed. Anyone with information should call Surrey Police on 101 (999 in an emergency) or use report.police.uk and quote the reference number P17254749.
