Police search for BMW Driver as 50 year old Motorcyclist left with Serious Injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic incident near Odiham left a motorcyclist with serious injuries. The 50-year-old male motorcyclist was travelling along the B3349 south, with a group of motorcyclists, when a car passed them and then turned left. As this happened, the motorcyclist lost control of his motorbike and came off it, leaving him with serious injuries. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment. The incident happened at the Golden Pot junction for the B3349 at 7.10pm on Wednesday, 31 May. The car, which is described as a blue BMW estate, and the motorcycle did not make contact and the car carried on, possibly unaware of what happened to the motorcyclist. Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the incident would like to speak to the driver of the blue BMW which was driving along that road that evening. They would also like to speak to any witnesses who saw the incident.
