Police are urgently seeking a key witness after Finbar Sullivan, 21, was tragically stabbed to death at Primrose Hill’s famous viewing point in North London. The incident happened Tuesday evening, and detectives believe a young woman or teenager who filmed a fight just before the stabbing holds vital clues.

Vital Video Footage Could Crack the Case

The woman, spotted on CCTV wearing a pink vest, blue denim shorts, and black trainers, recorded the brawl moments before Finbar was fatally attacked.

“The footage she filmed is vital to ongoing enquiries and will help officers piece together the sequence of events,” said a police statement.

Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, leading the investigation, stressed: “She has not committed any offence, but we are urging her, or anyone who knows her, to come forward. We need to speak to her as soon as possible.”

Scene Horror: Fight Erupts on Sunny Evening

Officers rushed to Primrose Hill at 6.41pm after reports of a fight. They found Finbar with stab wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, believed to be in his mid-20s, was hospitalised with non-life-threatening stab injuries. An eyewitness told the Daily Mail: “The park was packed with people enjoying the sun when a big brawl kicked off – with punches flying and people screaming to stop.” They added that most of those involved looked about 18 or 19 years old.

Heartbroken Father Speaks Out

Finbar’s dad, Chris Sullivan, 65, revealed his son and a friend had gone up to enjoy the sunshine before the deadly attack.

“They went up there because it was a nice day. My son met his friend AJ, who was stabbed trying to protect him. AJ was stabbed in the back and hands,” said Mr Sullivan. “We don’t know why they were attacked. Finbar always stood up for others – maybe they tried to stop bullying or a mugging.” “He’d just bought a brand new film camera after his 21st birthday. He went up there with his speaker, playing reggae music with friends… and now he’s dead.” “I’m absolutely devastated, brokenhearted. I haven’t slept or stopped crying since last night. This is the worst tragedy I could imagine.”

Despite Finbar’s ties to the drill music scene, his father insists his son had no gang links. “He was the victim of an indiscriminate stabbing. He was not a gang member.” The Met confirmed no arrests have been made yet as they continue their seven-day-a-week investigation. If you have any information, the police urge you to come forward immediately.
