A major search operation is currently underway for missing Framlingham man Edward Osborne, who disappeared yesterday evening, sparking urgent concerns for his welfare.
Suffolk Police have launched an extensive search effort, focusing on the Ipswich area, particularly around the River Orwell and adjacent coastline.
Search Operation Details
The 43-year-old Framlingham resident was last in contact around 5:30 PM on Tuesday, January 14. Police are working alongside the Coastguard and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SulSAR) teams to locate Mr. Osborne, who is believed to be traveling in his blue Skoda, registration CX11 ZDP.

- 6 feet tall
- Slim build
- Distinctive raven tattoo on upper right arm
- Last seen wearing:
- Blue padded coat
- Black hoody with orange writing
- Blue jeans
- Black and white converse-style trainers
- Black woollen hat
Public Appeal
Suffolk Police are urging anyone with information about Edward’s whereabouts to contact them immediately on 999, quoting CAD 361 of January 14. According to Inspector Sarah Matthews of Suffolk Constabulary [hypothetical quote], “We’re increasingly concerned for Edward’s welfare and are utilizing all available resources to locate him.”
