Three people were rescued after their 11-metre yacht ran aground on the Goodwin Sands early yesterday morning. Walmer’s Atlantic 85 RIB lifeboat was launched at 6:57 a.m. following reports of the stranded vessel.

The crew quickly reached the yacht and successfully transferred the three casualties to safety.
The rescued individuals were then transferred to the Ramsgate lifeboat for further assistance. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) facilitated the rescue operation,
