Tragic Crash in Garthorpe Kills Three
A deadly smash near the quiet village of Garthorpe has claimed three lives and left two children fighting for life.
Just after 5:45pm on Saturday, a white Audi TT sped south along Shore Road before violently crashing into a tree. The driver, 44, a 48-year-old front-seat passenger, and a 13-year-old girl in the back seat died instantly at the scene.
Two Children Critically Injured
A 9-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Officials say the teenage girl remains in critical, life-threatening condition.
Humberside Police are hunting for answers to why the car left the road. They’ve appealed for witnesses, asking anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to step forward, citing log 422 from March 28.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance Responds to Separate Horse Riding Injury
In a separate incident, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was dispatched after a horse rider was seriously injured somewhere else in Yorkshire. The air ambulances were seen heading to hospitals in Sheffield and Middlesbrough following the emergency call.
