Heartbreaking scenes as beautiful 13-year-old Ella Walden has died following a serious fall from an e-bike in bustling Corby, Northamptonshire.

Family Pays Emotional Tribute to Ella

Ella’s family described their daughter as an amazing, strong-willed girl taken far too soon. They said: “Our lives will never be complete again after losing our beautiful Ella. She was the most amazing, strong-willed, feisty girl, with the most precious smile.” They added, “Ella had an infectious personality and could light up even the emptiest room. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met, and you could hear her before you saw her, so life is so quiet without her.” Ella was passionate about performing and loved being in the spotlight. Her family said, “Ella was incredibly loyal and always stood up for what she believed in. She had a kind heart and was always there for anyone who was struggling.” They finished with: “To the world she was Ella, but to us she was the world. Life will forever have a space without her, but her memory will live on with us all forever.”

Northamptonshire Police confirmed a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and road traffic offences. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The collision happened around 3 pm on April 7 on Elizabeth Street, Corby.
