Police are hunting witnesses after a man in his 90s died following a collision in Royal Parade, Eastbourne.

Crash Outside Langham Hotel Ends in Death

The drama unfolded around 5.50pm on Friday, 7 November, when a grey Volkswagen Polo hit the elderly pedestrian right outside the Langham Hotel. The man, from Wadhurst, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital by paramedics.

Sadly, he passed away four days later. Police have contacted his family and expressed their deepest condolences.

Driver Unhurt as Police Launch Probe

The Volkswagen’s 33-year-old driver, a local from Eastbourne, escaped without injuries. Officers have launched a full investigation and are urgently seeking witnesses.
