A 13-year-old schoolgirl has died after falling off her e-bike in Corby town centre, Northamptonshire. The heartbreaking incident happened yesterday afternoon, and police are urgently seeking witnesses.
Girl Suffers Fatal Injuries on Elizabeth Street
The accident occurred between 2pm and 3pm on April 7th on Elizabeth Street. The young girl sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away shortly after arrival.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Northamptonshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for anyone who saw the incident or has CCTV or dash-cam footage to come forward.
“The incident happened yesterday, April 7, between 2pm and 3pm, when a 13-year-old girl suffered serious injuries after falling off an e-bike in the town’s Elizabeth Street. She was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later,” said a police statement.
