Two Men released on Bail following Fatal Fareham Collision
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Fareham in the early hours of Friday, 11 August. Officers were called shortly after midnight to reports of a collision involving a Peugeot 206 and a pedestrian on Highlands Road. Police attended the scene, where the 23-year-old male pedestrian from Fareham was pronounced dead. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. A 23-year-old man from Fareham and a 25-year-old man from Portsmouth have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They have been released from custody but remain under investigation.
