Londoner Jessika, 32, was the fourth contestant to leave the Channel 4 bake-off. Known for her bold flair and creativity, she hit a rough patch during the school-themed week. Prue Leith summed it up:
“Jessika is a risk-taker, and this week she took that risk too far.”
The service designer admitted things didn’t go to plan: “Everything went wrong – my oven, my microwave, my cake, my biscuits, my meringue.” It wasn’t a surprise when she was shown the door.

Despite the exit, Jessika looked back with pride. Her favourite moment was week one’s showstopper featuring apples from a treasured tree owned by Betty, a special person in her life. “Using those apples felt like bringing Betty along for the ride,” she said.
