Police are seeking witnesses following a distressing incident in Stoke Gifford that resulted in a man requiring hospital treatment. The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained injuries including bruising, three chipped teeth, and shoulder and jaw injuries after being assaulted by a group of approximately eight to ten youths. The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 8, at around 11.40pm in Little Stoke Park, specifically on the footpath between the BMX track and the recycling centre.
In addition to the physical harm inflicted, the victim also had his phone stolen during the attack. Although he has since been discharged from the hospital, he continues to experience sleep and memory issues as a result of the incident.
