The crews worked together to transfer the casualty onto the D Class Lifeboat where she was then taken to Saxon Wharf and passed into the care of the South Central Ambulance Service. Once the casualty was in the capable hands of SCAS, Calshot’s volunteer crew returned to the Lifeboat Station at 12.30am. The boats were washed down, refuelled and made ready again for service.
