Six Year Old rushed to Hospital after Incident in East Cowes

A Six year old Child has been rushed under Police escort to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport this morning after emergency services were called to Cromwell Avenue in East Cowes. Neighbours in the road have described numerous emergency vehicles arriving in the car park. One resident who wished not be named has said “No one is saying anything there have been lots of Police in the road all morning but nothing has been said. The family that live in the property are really nice. I saw one of the children being carried out to an ambulance. I hope the little girl is OK.” A Scenes of Crime officer dressed in paper suits has arrived and started taking pictures in the street of the homes that have been cordoned off. Credit:facebook Police and Paramedics were called just after 10am this morning to a new build property in the area. This remains sealed off by Police cordon tape as do a number of other properties with Police officers standing guard. Police have issued a statement in an attempt to reassure the community that the incident is an isolated one and there is no wider threat to the community.
