Young school children have been learning what it takes to become an officer with Kent Police

On Friday 5 July 2024 officers from Medway’s Community Safety Unit visited the Year Five students at Delce Academy in Rochester.

During the visit, PC Isuru Ranaweera and Police Community Support Officer Rowan Cornwall spoke to the 11-and 12-year-olds about different job roles within the police, how to become a Police Cadet and different ways to join the force.
