A 27-year-old police constable from Doncaster has been arrested on suspicion of blackmail, misconduct in a public office, and corruption. The arrest took place yesterday following a report to the force’s Professional Standards Department (PSD). The officer has been released on bail.
The alleged offences occurred while the officer was off duty but are related to her work within the policing role. The accusations involve deception for financial gain and improper handling of an investigation she was working on.
