Met Office forecast shows FREEZING winds sweep across Hampshire – 5cm of SNOW forecast Snow is forecast to sweep across the country this weekend as the so-called Beast from the East Part 2.0 smashes into the county sending the mercury plummeting and bringing more snow. The latest Met Office weather forecast shows the sub-zero easterly winds and snow working their way across Europe before they smash into the UK. The freezing temperatures are expected to bring more snow to the Isles with 5cm to 10cm of snowfall predicted to blanket London and the South East on Sunday. According to the Met Office forecast video, the freezing temperatures can be seen gradually working their way towards Britain as the weekend nears and has been been forecast to hit on Sunday A yellow weather warning has been issued by the met office.
